Passwords as visibile in clear text when trying to run a command using sudo vBox7.0

Passwords are visible in cleartext if a user presses enter before typing any text:

Was able to replicate using virtual box with ubuntu(Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS) and kali(2024.3).
