Cinebench 2026 #9356
Description
When launching Cinebench 2026 (available here) through Proton, it fails to launch with the following error:
wine: Call from 00006FFFFFF96FA0 to unimplemented function nvcuda.dll.cuInit, aborting
This happens on both Nvidia and AMD graphics systems.
Running with PROTON_DISABLE_NVAPI=1 resolves the problem.
I am reporting this here rather than in Proton because the program is not on Steam and thus does not have an app id, and the issue doesn't happen on upstream wine (the nvcuda dll appears to be an addition in this fork).
Despite it not being a game, the program needs vkd3d-proton, so it would be convenient for it to be usable through Proton out of the box, especially since third-party launchers such as Heroic and Lutris often use Proton.
