Hello! 🔆 I'm Althea

I am an Environmental Data Scientist @ UW's Seafood Globalization Lab working on the ARTIS (Aquatic Resource Trade in Species) model here.

🐟 We're fish schooling together:

I enjoy supporting scientists on their journeys navigating open-science, reproducible workflows, and FAIR data management.

🪴 I'm interested in:

Beautiful data viz, machine learning, LLMs, optimizing data pipelines, geospatial analysis, scalable computing & more

🗺️ I come from:

A scientific research background in New Hampshire/China watershed water quality, Gulf Coast fisheries, and West Coast native Olympia oyster habitat restoration (particularly their filtration services). I am good at walking on rocks and doing funny things with PVC covered in mud at low tide.
